My father became 62. He lived through a lot of things. From my point of view, the most important that he is my father. If he was not born I wouldn’t be born either. That’s why today, I will write about him.
Dear Dad,
62 years is a lot. We spent together about 29. We cried, we laughed. We had good times and bad times. You didn’t have an easy life, and you still work hard. How was your 62 years? Tell me about it! I know only a little about what happened to you during that 62 years. Tell me, because you know a lot, because you lived a lot. What do I see? I see sadness in your eyes, but rarely tears. Your hands are strong, they used to the hard physical work.On your face cheeky wrinkles reveal, that time passes. Your heart is strong and persistent. It is a rural heart, simple, good heart. We inherited it with my brother.
I also know how much you loved and honor your parents. They were hard workers too. Grandma would go to church and made wonderful needleworks. My grandpa loved singing.
I only write short sentences, although you lived through a lot. Even if you don’t talk too much about yourself, I still learnt and keep learning a lot from you. And I can say thank you for a whole life.
Thank you for being born!
Happy birthday Dad!
